Rev. Jonathan Bradner
Rev. Jonathan Bradner was born and raised in Northwest Ohio, where one of his first jobs was helping on a local pig farm. That early experience gave him a firsthand appreciation for hard work and the resilience of rural communities.
From a young age, Jonathan has been committed to serving others. He began volunteering as a child and was honored with a Presidential Volunteer Service Award at the age of 13. That early passion for community service has only grown stronger throughout his life and continues to shape his ministry, his professional work, and his vision for public service.
Jonathan’s path has taken him through a wide range of experiences. He has worked in hospitality management, served in corporate social responsibility where he helped win living wages for his colleagues, and led as a pastor. He also serves on the board of a highly regarded local nonprofit as well as an international nonprofit, further extending his commitment to community well-being and global engagement.
This breadth of experience has shaped a leader who understands life from many perspectives and is committed to leading with empathy rather than partisanship. Jonathan holds a Certificate of Pastoral Leadership and a Master’s degree in Ethics and Justice. His career reflects his belief that every person deserves dignity, opportunity, and a voice in shaping their community.
Jonathan and his wife Molly live in Colerain with their three dogs, one cat, and a snake. They enjoy hiking, camping, traveling across the country and around the world, and spending time at the Disney Parks.
Jonathan is running for State Representative because he believes Ohio deserves leaders who listen, act with integrity, and bring people together to solve real problems.
