meet Rev. Jonathan Bradner
Raised in Northwest Ohio, Jonathan brings a background that’s not what you’d expect from most pastors, let alone political candidates. One of his earliest jobs was working on a pig farm, an experience that taught him the value of hard work and a real appreciation for the grit of small-town communities. Before entering full-time ministry, he worked in the hospitality industry, where he fought for fair wages and helped create safer, more equitable workplaces for his co-workers.
From his beginnings as a college dropout to today, serving on the boards of respected local and international nonprofits, Jonathan has lived enough to understand people from all walks of life. He leads with empathy, not partisanship. Every step of his story points back to one belief: that every person deserves dignity, opportunity, and a voice in shaping their community.
Jonathan and his wife Molly live in Colerain with their three dogs, one cat, and even a snake! They love hiking, camping, traveling across the country, and they’re the kind of couple who still make time for a Disney trip now and then. Jonathan did return to school, earning a Certificate of Pastoral Leadership and later a Master’s degree in Ethics and Justice.
He is running for State Representative because he believes Ohio deserves leaders who listen, act with integrity, and bring people together to solve real problems.
